DAY 1: Geneva - A Coruña

Your journey begins with a transfer from your region to Geneva Airport, where you’ll meet your Vos Voyages tour escort and the other travellers.

Fly to A Coruña, Galicia's maritime capital. On arrival, meet your French-speaking guide and transfer to your hotel.

Check in, dinner and overnight stay in A Coruña.

DAY 2: A Coruña – Betanzos

After breakfast, set off to discover A Coruña, an elegant city facing the Atlantic. Its lively seafront, long city beaches and rich heritage are testament to its maritime past. Highlights include the famous Tower of Hercules, a Roman lighthouse listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and still in operation, which has become the city’s emblem.

Lunch at a restaurant.

In the afternoon, travel to Betanzos, one of Galicia’s most beautiful medieval towns. As you wander along its cobbled streets, through shady squares and past elegant Gothic churches, you’ll discover a town that has preserved all its character. Renowned for its traditional cuisine, Betanzos offers an authentic atmosphere, far from the bustle of the big cities.

Return to A Coruña.

DAY 3: A Coruña - Lugo - Santiago de Compostela

After breakfast, set off for Lugo, the only city in the world to have preserved its Roman walls in their entirety. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, these impressive fortifications are a remarkable legacy of the Roman era. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll explore the historic centre, its cathedral and the walls that still encircle the old town today.

In the afternoon, continue your journey to Santiago de Compostela, a legendary destination for pilgrims from around the world. As you arrive in this historic city, you will immediately sense the unique atmosphere surrounding its famous shrine.

Check in to your hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in the Santiago de Compostela area.

DAY 4: Santiago de Compostela

After breakfast, set off to discover Santiago de Compostela, one of the world’s most famous pilgrimage destinations. For more than a thousand years, travellers from across Europe have made their way to this UNESCO World Heritage city, whose granite streets, lively squares and historic buildings create a unique atmosphere.

Accompanied by your guide, you’ll visit the majestic cathedral, a major centre of Christianity which, according to tradition, houses the relics of the apostle St James. You’ll then stroll through the beautifully preserved historic centre, where palaces, convents and old houses tell the story of this iconic city.

Lunch at a restaurant, followed by a taste of traditional queimada, a signature drink of Galicia.

The afternoon is free for you to explore Santiago de Compostela at your own pace. Continue discovering its medieval streets, browse the craft shops or simply soak up the atmosphere on one of its lively squares from a café terrace.

DAY 5: Rías Baixas - Cambados - Combarro - Albariño winery

After breakfast, depart for the Rías Baixas, arguably Galicia's most iconic coastline. This succession of deep estuaries, where the ocean reaches inland, offers beautifully gentle scenery, with fishing ports, beaches, vineyards and seaside villages.

Your first stop is Cambados, a charming town known as the capital of Albariño, Galicia's most famous white wine. Its harbour, stately homes and peaceful atmosphere make it one of the region's most pleasant places to visit.

In the afternoon, discover Combarro, probably one of the most beautiful villages in Galicia. Its cobbled lanes, traditional granite houses and, above all, its famous hórreos, granaries raised on stilts and lined up facing the sea, create a quintessentially Galician scene.

You’ll then visit an Albariño winery, where you’ll discover the secrets behind this renowned wine before enjoying a tasting.

The sunlit landscapes of the Rías Baixas, where fishing villages, vineyards and the Atlantic Ocean create one of Galicia’s most beautiful postcards.

DAY 6: Muxía - Costa da Morte - Cape Finisterre

After breakfast, set off for the spectacular Costa da Morte, literally the “Coast of Death”, famous for its wind-swept cliffs, wild beaches and numerous lighthouses watching over the Atlantic. You’ll reach Muxía, a small fishing port overlooked by the sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca, a legendary pilgrimage site where land seems to merge with the ocean.

The scenic route then follows the coast to the legendary Cape Finisterre, long considered by the Romans to be the “end of the world”. Overlooking the vast Atlantic, this headland offers one of Galicia’s most breathtaking panoramas. A short walk of around thirty minutes takes you to the lighthouse, where you can fully appreciate the magnificent scenery. Lunch during the excursion.

The afternoon continues with a chance to discover the coastal scenery before returning to Santiago de Compostela.

Take in the ocean views from Cape Finisterre, the legendary “end of the world” where pilgrims once completed their journey.

DAY 7: Pontevedra – Vigo

After breakfast, depart for Pontevedra, an elegant historic city renowned for its remarkable old town, considered one of the best-preserved in Galicia. With your guide, discover its lively squares, cobbled lanes and monuments, which bear witness to a rich maritime and commercial past.

Lunch at a restaurant.

You will then continue to Vigo, Galicia's main fishing port and a city looking out to the ocean. A boat trip will give you a different perspective on the bay, followed by a tasting of the famous pulpo a feira, traditional Galician-style octopus and a true local culinary institution.

Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 8: Santiago de Compostela - Geneva

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Santiago de Compostela Airport.

On arrival, collect your luggage before returning to your region under the same arrangements as for the outbound transfer.
